Frilled Shark- A living Fossil

Look at this! Its a Frilled Shark! It appeared a long time ago, so people refer to it as a living fossil. In fact, scientists believe it to be extinct until one appeared in the shallow waters of Japan. It was captured and photographed but died due to poor health a few hours later. Amazing right? It looks so prehistoric and ancient- weird looking creature...
